OUR STORYWith 18 years’ building experience, Luke is still onsite most days wearing a tool belt and passing skills on to the crew. When he’s not on site or chasing after his kids, you can probably find Luke in the surf at Raglan.
Luke started his career building new residential homes in 2005, before moving to the Waikato in 2009 and working for a local company specialising in renovations, which was pivotal as building renovations are a whole different skill set.
In 2010, he founded Mackay Construction, which has gained a reputation for producing quality homes and spaces.
Luke's work on the high-end residential home 'River Retreat' opened his mind to the type of projects he wanted to be involved in - ones with quality people, products, great design, and custom details.
With the support of his wife Hannah, the business has steadily grown and continues to be known for its exceptional workmanship.
